A Few weeks ago I had the privilege of Covering Tanya & Colin’s Wedding, at the Hilton – Avisford Park, near Arundel, East Sussex. They had a really nice, Intimate ceremony with just 30 people, & they totally lucked out with brilliant weather.
I Posted a preview a week or so ago, Which I hear has ended up on someones Fridge *grins*. I delivered the images on Friday, So now I can share some Big images on the Blog.
I love these first two, Shot during the ceremony with the (Big White Drainpipe) 70-200 F2.8L IS, beautiful soft light coming from a window to my right.

This shot, its not sharp, but I love the atmosphere; As you can see from the smiling faces - The Bride, Groom, Wedding party & the guests were an absolute pleasure to spend the day with.
Tanya was pretty camera shy, but had this gorgeous, backless wedding-dress that just needed a dreamy, smooth, creamy portrait, so the solution…get a shot in when she’s not looking
I love this next shot, probably my favorite shot in a long time, but I’m not sure why. Maybe its the framing of the wedding car, maybe its the pin sharp eye-focus… Or maybe…its the strawberry in the Champagne.
As everyone knows, I love shots of guests with cameras… With each new camera having a bigger, brighter screen, it makes these shots so much easier
I guess being a photographer & being around cameras all day makes me desensitized to them…but everyone has a digital camera these days & I find it great watching them interact their ‘toys’.
I love minimal colors wedding’s, but Colin & Tanya went 1 further with ‘Black & white’, really crisp clear decor – particularly the beautiful wedding cake with its simple repeating polka-dots, The Designer side was in minimalist heaven.
The Hilton – Avisford Park, staff did a fantastic job on the food, really looked gorgeous. The Table centre-pieces were great too , designed so they could be easily moved between rooms for the evenings reception.
These images come from the evenings reception – Who needs flash, when the DJ’s lights are so much fun.
Finally.
“Nothing says intimate wedding like Industrial Machinery.”
Whilst looking for beautful, soft light. We found a JCB. I couldn’t resist.
There are so many more images I’d love to share, but I’ve run out of blogging time. Back to work. New Website (Yes. I’m changing it Again.)
Who knows, Maybe I’ll let them have 2 blog posts of Wedding Photos – thats how great the day was.
