For those that check this blog regularly (both of you!) I sincerely apologize, I’ve totally neglected my blog for two whole weeks! oops. There are reasons though! (excuses, excuses!)
The new weddings site is here! – no more flash – which makes the site faster loading, more responsive & also allows you to bookmark specific pages – it also contains alot more (wedding photography) related information.
The images in the portfolio are smaller than the last incarnation of the site, but I figure I’m uploading big, high-quality images on the blog – the website can be smaller & more rapid.
It’s also easier to update **but given the regularity of blog updates…lets not hold our breath!**
It took a really long time (and even longer to fix some problem’s), but now its here (and has been more or less for over week)
The new site also compliments my new business cards (which I’ve had for about a month, but haven’t gotten round to sharing here – again…my bad! I designed them with the idea of: simple, clean & elegant, but not going to go out of date/fashion to quickly. The team at Creative Sauce did an awesome job with the printing.
So far I’ve also noticed an increase in web traffic & had positive comments (about the site design etc.) from my Brides… So I’m classing it as a win (for now!) but If anyone has any comments on the design or things that you do/don’t like, by all means leave a comment at the bottom of this post.
A few things still need to be tweaked with the new design, most notably I need to get some better self portraits – but I’m really not comfortable in front of the camera, so I’ll put that off for the foreseeable future!
So far this post has been a bit self-centered, so lets move away from myself and branding.

Jasmine Star is an **Awesome** Wedding Photographer based in Orange County, California. In my opinion she’s up there with the top wedding photographer’s in the world – and definitely someone whose work I admire – Anyway, I was really shocked to find a comment from her on my blog 
Totally Made my day
Not only does it make a change from all the blog spam, but I guess it means I must be doing something right (if I’m getting noticed by people I look up to?)
But yeah. Big thanks to Jasmine Star for making me feel important
Anyway, this non wedding blog post seems to have lasted long enough, Rest assured new Wedding Photos are coming soon (as well as some non-wedding work) & I’m doing some engagement shoots this week so they should find there way up here too.
Also I still intend to do some ‘before and after’ articles as well as a few other (community spirited) posts.
As always please feel free to leave a comment on anything.
