On Friday I received my new, absolutely stunningly, gorgeous sample album from KISS wedding Books in California, & I have to say I’m mightily impressed! I’ve been searching for an album company for a while now, I’ve tried a few & they’ve never really had the ‘wow’ factor I was looking for…But KISS books most certainly fit the bill!

They use the most gorgeous leather for their covers, words & pictures don’t do it justice!
Look at the awesome grain
The pages look to be around 2-3mm thick, so they’re incredibly hard wearing!
Really solid binding & lovely thick spine!
Everyone seems to do shots like this…& I’m not one to break trends
I’ve used Adobe InDesign for many years, so feel pretty comfortable with it & the great thing about these books is I can use Indesign & send them a .pdf, so I can draw upon my graphic design background to create the layouts…there are other companies let you do this..but KISS’s ordering system is so simple & their services compliments the way I work, so they are the perfect fit!
Because I send them a .pdf the layout options really are limitless, I tend to go for the simple, timeless, clean design approach…but anything is possible!
& KISS books can have images over 2 pages, with no gutter or gap in the middle ! Which makes the above shot work amazingly as a centre page spread!
All in all, I’m a very happy photographer& I can’t wait to have a bookcase full of KISS samples.
