Following on from a few days ago’s teaser here are a few more, ‘a few’ is hardly the correct wording, I really couldn’t decide which ones to share, so I’ve ended up sharing alot more than I usually do
I could probably do five or six good posts with all the photos the I liked
Not that that’s a bad thing![]()
Really pleased with how the shoot turned out, was very different to my usual work, but a really nice project all the same
Made all the more awesome by all the super friendly staff! Thanks everyone!

The shot below was a bit cheeky, As I’m a ‘preferred photographer’ at The Shelleys I offer extra value to clients holding their wedding there, & when I lauched my new site (did anyone notice that?) I put up a special page about the Shelleys & needed an image to put on it…I guess, If they hadn’t have hired me, I would have had to go there & get this shot anyways
So It Worked out well!

I love the middle shot below, as soon as I saw the layout, with the sofa below the window, I knew what needed to be done
whats the correct name for that style of chair? In ‘The Sims’ its called a ‘love seat’ which sounds great, (yes…unfortunately…I get my education from computer games
) but seriously..is it really called a ‘love seat’? I must admit, I quite like it
might have to get me one when I get around to having ‘proper’ studio space…

mmmm…chandelier-y goodness
I’ll have one of those for my studio too please![]()

The above shot is some Branded Chocolates The Shelleys are having made by www.mylittlewrapper.co.uk - what an awesome idea! I would totally go for some Fazackarley chocolates…but I’d proably end up eating them myself, rather than give them away![]()

Being a Country House Hotel, The Shelleys is full of Antiques & one-off pieces, all of which deserve attention as they are all so intricately detailed – but the one that probably gets the most attention, is a grandfather clock in the reception area – the clock face is beautiful!![]()

I have loads of shots of the inside of the rooms that I should proably put up here, but I love all the little details at the hotel! & the wallpaper – N I C E
I love patterns![]()

Onto the food! One of the main reasons they had me out there, was to get some lovely photos of food prepared by their Michelin Star Chef, Michael, As anyone the knows me will confirm…I love food
& the chance to work with a top chef is a massive priviledge for me
& The food? – A M A Z I N G ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Thier Chef used lots of ‘Foams’ (I hope thats the correct term?) to really make the food look stunning – unfortunately foam is pretty tricky to photograph, as from the moment its applied to the food, it starts to turn to liquid – so you need to work Q U I C K L Y ! ! ! ! ! Below we have the same dish twice…once without foam, once with…& Yes it was D E L I C I O U S ! ! !
Who could imagine simple cucumber could be so stunning…

Pork Belly,Always a classic choice…I tried something as bit different with the composition…I quite like it![]()

Thats all for now, I may do another Shelleys post in the future, but for now, the good news is that I’m back blogging pictures
a photographer sharing pictures on his blog..what a shocker!![]()
As I enjoyed this shoot so much, & enjoy the other bits & pieces of commercial work I do, not only am I open to any & all commercial project ideas, but I may also actually launch a Commercial side to my business leter this year… I guess I should add it to the bottom of my neverending to-do list…![]()
