A little while ago I was invited out to one of my favourite wedding venues, The Shelleys Hotel – A gorgeous hotel in one of Sussex’s loveliest towns – Lewes. Maybe I’m a little biased, I spent my college days in Lewes (& a bit of University!) & its a cool little place, with a immense number of pubs… & it’s usually sunny! – If people ask me for a location for portrait sessions, or engagement shoots I often suggest Lewes!! (or Loo’s as some people call it – you know who you are!!)
Anyway, I have a great relationship with the Shelleys. So when they asked me to stop by and shoot some photos of their food, for a new restauraunt menu, I was more than happy to oblige!
Regular blog readers will remember I did some photos for them last year, new readers can check those out here – Shelleys Hotel photographs.
Anyway, Huge thanks to head chef Nick, who put together one of everything on the menu for me to photograph (& sample!!) I could really get into this food photography game!! (Infact, I may just do that… watch this space
)
Heres a selection of the images, I did a variety of shots for each dish, just to be safe!

Nice shots Faz. In a previous life I used to do loads of food photography and I absolutely love beautifully lit food images especially when it is contemporary food that looks delicious – sweet depth of field as well.
Man I am hungry now!
wow..yummy food..
and nice decoration
Nice! My mouth is actually watering… that steak looks AMAZING! Bet they were well pleased with those.
