An evening, 6 weeks ago, I was on Twitter, as usual.
Rock My Wedding put out a tweet asking if any wedding photographers were free on the 5th of June, – I was emailing them anyway, so I ps’d an: ‘I’m freeee’…
Turns out they had a bride contact them, whose photographer had disappeared 2 weeks before the big day!! (ouch!) & The fabulous gals at RMW made it their task to ensure the bride (The fabulous Aisling!) got someone awesome….
(ok, I’m not sure I can say ‘awesome’, as now it just looks like I’m a shameless egotist.)
Anyway, they directed her my way… After some emailing & a lovely chat over the phone, Aisling booked me! Yay!
Fast forward 7-10 days, to her wedding! up in Berkshire.
It was amazing. Gorgeous bride & groom, brilliant family, tons of gorgeous details & the best atmosphere ever.
Skip forward a bit more, I’ve processed all the images, sent them to Aisling (received some fabulously nice emails from her!) now its time for RMW to share this beautiful day with the world! – & not just any kind of ‘post’ – 3 EPIC posts!
In case you missed it – Part one & part two were yesterday, Part three was today!
Look at how many comments its getting!!
Now RMW have posted it, I’m allowed to post it here (As it was special circumstances, I gave them complete exclusivity!), & will do tomorrow morning!!
But in the mean time, here’s a peek at the RMW coverage!

Not only have the posts been immense, but the comments the lovely RMW readers are leaving!! – some of them are making me blush!!

Thank you so much all of you lovely commenter’s! – I heart you all!!
Thank you to Charlotte & Rebecca at Rock My Wedding for being so lovely, seriously!! I’ll be sending more gorgeousness your way soon!
and of course -
Thank you, Thank you!! – to Aisling (& Phil & Family!) for being so awesome, so welcoming & for having me along for the ride! It was beautiful!
Aisling & Phil’s wedding will be on here, in full, tomorrow!
Wonderful work as always Simon – very much deserved praise. I really enjoyed the three part series on RMW. Looking forward to seeing your full blog post!
It was a truly beautiful wedding, wonderfully captured by your good self!
You just get better and better Mr F – if that’s possible. After seconding on Friday I have the utmost respect for pro wedding togs – they are worth their weight in gold. Sod the cake and other fripperies – it’s the photography that will be with you for the rest of your life, make sure you get the best!
You’re quite entitled to be a shameless egotist Mr F! (I refuse to let the Mr F thing go btw…!)
You Rock.
The End.
