Wow, I don’t have the words for the second day of Claudia & Sarang’s wedding spectacular. Part one was at the Pavilion, it was beautiful, intimate, fun & it was emotional.
Part two turned it right the way up to 11.
Luki & Liam got engaged on Brighton beach , so when it came time to arrange their wedding – Brighton was the logical place to celebrate their big day! They got married at the beautiful Angel House, which is right on the seafront, a stones throw from where they got engaged & I can’t imagine a more perfect place for these two to tie the knot! A beautiful regency house, surrounded by their family, friends & lots of children including their daughter Luna – They made their day about fun, laughter & love.
2016, You’ve been amazing.
From the incredible people we’ve met, the beautiful weddings we’ve been a part of & the amazing moments we’ve witnessed. You’ve been amazing.
I’ve had the pleasure of photographing lots of weddings all across the UK, but being based in Brighton, I often get asked about Pangdean Barn Wedding Photography. I love photographing weddings at Pangdean Barn and in recent years it’s become a really popular venue due to its close proximity to Brighton. It’s a fab place for a party – surrounded by beautiful countryside & has tons of wonderful inside space for the colder months, or when the British summertime is a bit wet.
The roof in the main barn is ridiculously beautiful & decorated with thousands of fairy lights – it makes for amazing photos & beautiful soft light.
I’ve photographed weddings there all year round: from spring & summer – where we’ve been able to make the most of the wonderful gardens to cosy winter weddings where it’s been dark from 3pm & everyone is huddles up toasting marshmallows around the Chimineas outside.
One of my favourite memories from Wedding Photography at Pangdean Barns was from Kate & Lincoln’s wedding, the rain was pouring down outside, as it had been the majority of the day, but inside the barn was filled with such a warmth – both a physical, comforting warmth, But also an emotional one from the guests & from Kate who was having the absolute time of her life, surrounded by all her closest family and friends. It didn’t matter that the weather was so bad, nobody cared – as the important stuff was happening inside & nothing could put a damper on that!
Of course, whilst that was the first to come to mind, I’ve many other wonderful memories from each & every wedding I’ve photographed both at Pangdean & elsewhere!
Here are a few of my favourites from recent Pangdean Barn Wedding Photography & there are links to full weddings below:

If you’re planning a Pangdean Barn Wedding & would like to discuss your wedding photography –
A few weeks ago, I photographed the wedding of the wonderful Carrie & Ben – an American & a Englishman, who met in Israel & got married in Brighton! One of the most globetrotting couples I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing.
Allison and Jack are a couple of total cuties who met at Guildford School of Acting in Surrey. Brighton has particular significance for them as it was where Jack proposed last year, so the couple picked the City as the venue for their big day. They were joined on the day by all their friends from the School of Acting and Allison’s relatives, who live in America and travelled over especially for the wedding.
During Easter break I headed along to one of my favourite spots in the city for an engagement session with the awesome Jessica, Hugh and Squid the dog. Stanmer Forest is on the outskirts of the Brighton and my own dog Thor absolutely loves it when I take him there so I knew I was in for a great day.
There couldn’t be a more fitting start to my wedding season than the gorgeous Valentine’s day wedding of Hannah and Jamie in Ditchling.
Ditching is really sweet little village, with lovely views of the Downs from St Margaret’s Church where the ceremony took place. And although the sun was shining, I have to hand it to Jamie and his groomsmen for braving the brisk February air and wearing kilts!
After a lovely church ceremony, it was just a short drive down the road to Pangdean Barns for food, fun and fizz!
Jamie is a massive Newcastle United supporter, so Hannah arranged for all the tables to be named in tribute to some of the team’s famous players. I’m not a massive football follower but even I recognized the delightful mullet of Kevin Keegan!
As another year draws to a close I like to spend a little time reflecting on all that’s happened. 2014 has been really good to me, with weddings taking me far and wide, from my hometown of Brighton up to the stunning the Peak District and on to Lancashire.
I’ve been luckily enough to shoot some fantastic weddings and have met some amazing people. So I thought I’d round up the year with some of my favourite images from 2014. A huge thank you to all my 2014 couples and all the very best for 2015. And to all my 2015 couples – I’m really looking forward to working with you this year!
