I went to college with Jess, so when she contacted me about her & Chris’s upcoming wedding I was thrilled! – It’s always exciting to get wedding enquiries, but when you already know the people involved, it’s just so exciting on so many levels!
We met up in the Ashdown Forest to do their engagement session. Good times!
I met Jen & Will last year at Nic & Wills wedding (it’s a different Will. Otherwise it’d be weird.) So when they contacted me asking if I was free for their wedding in 2013, I was so excited! Knowing their friends & having seen how much fun they had at the wedding, I knew they were going to be fun to work with!
I met them for their engagement session at College Lake in Tring – we walked, we laughed, we made photos. Good Times! Bring on the main event!
A little while back, I headed up to Hertfordshire to see Harriet & Tim, for their engagement session. They are both fantastic wedding photographers. So, no pressure to make their photos kick ass. Fortunately, between the loveliness of Harriet & Tim + the relaxing effects of Lavender we got through ok…
Last week I photographed Becca & Dave’s wedding, so thought it would be the perfect time to share their engagement!
New Forest + Amazing weather + Gorgeous people + Overcoming the awkwardness of loitering in a forest, being lapped = Awesome.
A few days ago I spent the evening wandering around Stanmer Park with Emma & Dan, for their engagement session! Stanmer park rocks, I’ve done a few engagements there, as well as a few weddings at Stanmer House & its always great!
I love engagement sessions so much, as I get to know people & learn things about them that I wouldn’t know if I just turned up & shot their wedding – not only does this satisfy my nosiness (I kid!) but getting to know my clients helps me understand who they are, what they are about & really make sure their images rock!
I had the pleasure of spending Saturday with Jen & Andrew, whose wedding I am shooting in June at Roffey Place Bible College & Mannings Heath Golf Course. We had an engagement session planned & spent a large chunk of it chasing the light in a forest near Horsham – But it was totally worth it! – I hope I wasn’t to hard on you guys :)
