Wedding Photographers in Surrey

We’re Wedding Photographers in Surrey & we absolutely love our job. We get to spend the day with loved up couples & their family & friends, in some stunning locations & everyone has a great big party! It’s brilliant!

We photograph moments, details, portraits & everything in between to tell their story. Photographing weddings from the perspective of a guest, we blend in with your wedding party and tell the story as it happens, without interfering or taking away from the intimacy of your day.

Some of our favorite Surrey venues include; Hampton Court House, Hampton Court Palace, The Barn at Bury Court, Nonsuch Manor, Cain Manor,  Greyfriars House, The Bingham Hotel & Great Fosters, but with so many other stunning venues & such a wide array of beautiful countryside it’s a great county for a wedding!

Over recent years we’ve had the pleasure of joining lots of couples for their big day throughout Surrey & beyond, here are a few of our favourite photos:

From church weddings, to teepee’s in fields, to barns full of bunting, we’ve photographed hundreds of different weddings in a wide variety of different locations & each & everyone has been beautiful.

Every wedding is different & every wedding has its own unique story that we aim to capture.

Our style is about photographing the day as it happens, capturing the atmosphere & storing the details that will bring back all the sights & sounds, the laughter & tears. We want your wedding photographs to bring back the memories of a beautiful day & put you right back to where you were when it all happened.

From your guests having an amazing time sipping prosecco & eating canapes in the sun, to aunties throwing shapes on the dance floor – weddings are made of beautiful moments & we capture them, then use them to tell the story.

Moments like this remind us why we are wedding photographers, the exhilaration of coming out of your ceremony, to the sounds of cheering from your guests & the taste of confetti (yup, it often ends up in mouths!)

It’s the epitome of a happy day. We love it as its so colorful & looks amazing in photographs.

It’s all about the moments, the moment shared between grandparents, relatives & friends, these are the things that tell the story & capture the wedding day in all its glory. These are the moments that often go unnoticed, but we pride ourselves on capturing & commemorating. We know how important family bonds are, we know how sometimes life gets in the way of us spending time with our families – but we know these moments are those we treasure the most.

So long 2015!

This year seems to have flown by! I’ve been lucky enough to have shot some truly beautiful weddings for some fantastic couples. I’ve also had the opportunity to work at some fab new locations like Worthing Dome and Birling Manor.

Heather and I are really looking forward to 2016, and we’ll hopefully have some really exciting news to share with you in February too!

We’d like to say a huge thank you to all the lovely couples that have booked Heather and myself this year. Here’s a little round up of some of our fav pictures from 2015.

Bury Court Wedding Photography – Julia and Anuar

After some truly awful May weather the sun decided to make a welcome appearance for Julia and Anuar’s wedding at Bury Court. And boy was it a beautiful day!

Although I’d not met Julia and Anuar before the wedding I had spoken to them on the phone and knew how warm and friendly they both were so I was mega excited about shooting their wedding!

The couple really wanted dual coverage of their wedding so I had Heather shooting with me for the day – it’s always lovely to capture both the groom and the brides morning prep! And at Bury Court the ceremony and reception all take place in the grounds of the venue so Heather and I were able to easily dart about from morning prep to ceremony and then reception without missing any of the action.

Bury Court Wedding Photography – Jo & Tom

Jo & Tom’s story is of a holiday romance that blossomed into true love.

I first met Jo and Tom when I did an engagement session with them in the Surrey Hills a few months ago. We had so much fun that day so I knew that their wedding was going to be awesome.

Jo got ready at her parents house in Woking so I started the day with her there for croissants, bubbly and to meet the rest of her bridal party. It turns out they were all as smiley and friendly as Jo!

When it came to the ceremony itself later in the day, photography  unfortunately wasn’t permitted, which was a bit of a shame, but you’ll just have to
take my word that the legal bit did happen and it was lovely!

After the ceremony everyone headed off to Bury Court for the reception. I’ve actually done a few weddings at Bury Court and it never disappoints – it’s such a lovely venue and it really comes to life when the bride and groom put their own special touches to the day. For Jo and Tom this was homemade gingerbread men wedding favours, gorgeous summer flowers and all the guests tables were named after places that had played an important part in Jo & Tom’s lives. And during the speeches guests were treated to not one but two slide shows that had been put together by Jo and Tom’s close family and friends – touching family stories and the obligatory collection of embarrassing photos provided plenty of tears and giggles!

To the amazing Jo and Tom, thank you for letting me be a part of your special day!
