Here is Aisling & Philips Wedding!!
Sometimes I photograph weddings that are just so great in all the right places, they really remind me why I love this business, this is most definitely one of those! Great people, great weather, great locations & more gorgeous details than you can shake a stick at!
Aisling & Phil got married in Berkshire, The official ceremony took place at Berkshire Registry Office, but the majority of the day was spent in Ailing & Phillip’s beautiful garden, complete with River! Which, on one of the hottest day’s *ever* was a welcome addition!!
This was all a little last minute for me, A few weeks before their big day their photographer left them in the lurch, So they came to me on a personal recommendation for the amazing ladies over at Rock My Wedding (thanks Charlotte & Rebecca!!) & I thought it was going to be tough – going into an intimate wedding, having no clue who anybody was… heck, I didn’t even know how to say Aisling’s name correctly!! (its kinda like Ash-Ling… certainly not Ayyyy-Sling…! After the lovely bridesmaids corrected me promptly!!)
But as soon as I wandered into the house (a few hours before the ceremony), I was made to feel completely welcome & it really allowed me to get some fantastic images! So much so, I hardly feel I can take all the credit for these photos – they were a group effort!

I think the one where Aisling is looking over her grooms shoulder is my favourite!

So I’ve got Joe Buissink’s book, Wedding Photography from the Heart and it’s a decent book, great images, highly inspirational. Can I buy a book to follow on from that one, centred completely around this wedding and your images? Please don’t caption it throughout with shutter speeds and f-stops though, that’s meaningless on the scale of things, but I want to know what colour socks you were wearing as you took each shot and indeed where you can buy such magic socks because there’s definitely magic in all of these pictures.
Ok I absolutely LOVED my wedding photos, don’t get me wrong, but your photos are amongst the best I have ever, ever seen! I know we over at RMW have big big love for this wedding but the pictures absolutely make it. Adore the last three especially. I want to get married again (to same groom) so you can be my photographer!

Great images and it so deserves to be on RMW. What a fantastic wedding to photograph and you did such a cracking job – nice one dude!
