Alex & Kelly got married a few weeks back in Brighton. I’ve photographed a handful of Gay weddings before, but this was my first Lesbian wedding & it was awesome. Alex & Kelly are two of the most laid back, relaxed & friendly folks you could meet & their day was one of the most loving & intimate celebrations I’ve been a part of. Their love for each other shone through in every aspect of the day & the support & love from their families was evident, A wonderful, welcoming bunch who had traveled far & wide!
Also in attendance was Gary the Pug, who made a cheeky little appearance after the ceremony – & anyone that knows me, knows what a dog lover I am – so anytime there’s a dog at a wedding, you know I’m happy!
I knew Alex & Kelly would be fun to work with from their engagement session, they’re complete naturals in front of the camera & were up for all of my strange creative ideas!
They had their ceremony at Brighton Town Hall, before heading over to Proud Cabaret in Kemp Town for night of dancing, drinking & partying.
They didn’t need me along for the preparations stage of the day, so I caught up with them at the Town Hall – but whilst I was waiting, I still managed to get a cheeky one of Alex getting ready with a glass of prosecco in her hotel window!
