Ote Hall Wedding : Amanda & Glenn

6th August 2010

It seems like ages ago I shot this wedding, I’m terribly behind in my blogging & after the 4 5 6 hours it’s taken me to upload this post, (technical difficulties!!) it’s no wonder!! silly blog. silly host. *looks menacingly at BT*

Anyway, this is Amanda & Glenn’s wedding from wayyyy back in June! – You’ll remember their Brighton Engagement photos a few months back – the engagement was awesome fun & the wedding, well I knew it would be – BRILLIANT! Amanda & Glenn’s aim in life is to have more fun than anyone else & it totally shone through in their day! I Loved being a part of it!

I had the supremely talented, but sadly northern accented, Stuart James shoot with me on this one & it was great! – Can’t wait to shoot more with him in the future! Think our styles came together really nicely!

Anyway, Without further introduction, enjoy the pictures!

As a special surprise, the bridesmaids had their choice of TVR’s to get to the church!

Amanda didn’t need a TVR.

Whilst I was with Amanda & the bridesmaids, Stu headed over to The Royal Oak, Poynings to catch Glenn & the guys getting ready.

On to Holy Trinity Poynings Church for the ceremony!

I left Stuart outside with Amanda, so I could get up close & personal with the groomsmen down the front of the church.

The light in the side chapel for the registry signing was gorgeous!!

The Vicar was incredibly relaxed & pretty much let me go where I liked! (as long as I wasn’t in the way, of course!) – Awesome!!

Love this shot Stu took as they were walking up the aisle!

Glenn’s rugby teammates had special training to be a part of the day – they made rocking campanologists! (Bell ringers, to the rest of us!) Pretty sure the chap on the left of shot one isn’t on the team… but I love the juxtaposition!!

Not to be outdone by Stu’s gorgeous Aisle shot, here’s my leaving the church shot! (Did I mention I’m competitive?!?)

After the ceremony, I saw Stu crouching near the wheel of the wedding car – always looking for that different angle!! – Love it!!

Onto the reception, which was at the Great Ote Hall, an amazing exclusive wedding venue in Sussex.

I don’t normally blog group shots, but I love these!

- The old favorite (cliche?) is groomsmen lifting bride, as above & below, with added Bridesmaid loveliness -

the bridesmaids fancied a challenge… - think this will catch on?

Time for a bit of Bride & Groom portrait action!

It wouldn’t be right without a bit of flare!! -

Back to the reception, details! – Love a good bit of butterfly action!

Funky table names/markers -

Stunning cake, that Amanda designed!

You know the speeches were going to be good! -

When the father of the bride & grooms speeches are this amazing… the bestman starts to worry =)

First thing on the agenda, a Strawberry Cheesecake toast! -

Although, not to everyones liking!!

Blaz’s bestman speech was great… until a point where he accidently dropped the f-bomb & embarrassed himself… then… it… was… awesome!

The first dance… with balloon’s & flare – can it be any more cooler?

The band was really, really good – I didn’t catch their details/website etc., but if anyone has them, I’d love to give them a shout out!

Love these 3 that stu took, brave man lying on the dance floor – but so worth it!!

Huge thanks to Amanda & Glenn (Glandy!) for including me in their plans – It was awesome!

Thanks to all the guests/bridesmaids/family/groomsmen for making us so welcome!

Finally, Massive thanks to Stuart James for making the long trip down from t’North to shoot with me – can’t wait to shoot with you sometime!!
