Kathy and Greg are celebrating their wedding at Amber Lakes in Windsor later in the year, but with the sudden up turn in the weather last month – decided to book in an engagement session and start practicing those wedding smiles!
Jade and Dan are getting married later this month at the lovely Blackstock Barn in Hellingly, and are having us along photograph and video their special day.
They were keen to get in little bit of pre-wedding photo practice, So I met up with them last month in Hastings to help them to feel relaxed in front of the camera, discuss their plans and get to know them a bit.
Jena and Davy are getting married next month at the wonderful Fitzleroi Barn near Pulborough – and are having us along to both photograph and make a film of their celebrations. They were feeling a little nervous about the prospect of being photographed – so booked an engagement session to help them relax.
We met up one beautiful spring evening earlier in the month, at the gorgeous Stanmer Forest just outside of Brighton – timing it perfectly as the forest was looking particularly lush – and the bluebells were just springing into life.
Becca & Phil came down to Brighton for their engagement session a few weeks ago, Becca is an awesome make up artist, and has done so many weddings she must have seen hundreds of wedding photographers in action – so for her to book me for their wedding is both an incredible complement, but also a big pressure!
This was a fun evening. I met up with Rebecca & Paul a few weeks ago to discuss their wedding & do some pre wedding photography with them – their wedding is in a few weeks at Brighton Unitarian Church – I’m very excited to be shooting there as I’ve long admired it’s imposing white facade in New Road!
We met up in the Lanes just before sunset so we could make the most of that beautiful summery light (& catch that sexy flare I love so much!) & get some gorgeous engagement photos.
Last weekend I got to hang out in Brighton with these two awesome ladies, to discuss their upcoming wedding, have beers on the beach & get to know them a bit! They are such fun, I cannot wait for their big day in a few weeks!
A few weeks ago, Kate & Chris came down from London for the afternoon for their engagement session, to discuss their wedding & to hang around in a forest – Pretty Standard wedding photographer business then! We wandered around Stanmer Park, a stones throw from one of my favourite local wedding venues, Stanmer house.
They’re so chilled in front of the camera & so easy to chat to, their wedding at Bury Court Barn later this year is going to be great.
I went to college with Jess, so when she contacted me about her & Chris’s upcoming wedding I was thrilled! – It’s always exciting to get wedding enquiries, but when you already know the people involved, it’s just so exciting on so many levels!
We met up in the Ashdown Forest to do their engagement session. Good times!
Steve & Jen’s wedding (part one! – part two can be found here!!) took place last November, in Brighton – it was a secret ceremony with only myself and two witnesses present – witnesses who go by the name Marilyn & Elvis…
Jeni is an amazing, incredibly well regarded makeup artist so for her to choose me to document their wedding(s!) was an insanely huge honour (no pressure!!), as she’s worked with so many different photographers, across so many different genres – including high fashion shoots for the top magazines & brands. it was such a compliment that she would pick me to capture their weddings!
Anyway, We started off having a little engagement session fun around the Lanes of Brighton & ended up with a wedding, was a roller coaster of a day. One that I am immeasurably grateful to have been a part of!
Their wedding has been featured on RocknRollBride, so head over there for the full write up!
