An exciting new wedding venue in Hampshire has recently caught our eye – Heckfield Place. Weddings at Heckfield look to be something truly special in the coming years and something we’d love to be a part of.

We first heard about Heckfield Place in the pages of Conde Nast Traveller magazine – a Fazackarley favourite for inspiration and trend spotting – which also serves to satisfy a little of our wanderlust!

Heckfield Place is a 18th Century Georgian Manor House, recently restored to an incredibly high standard, it opened its doors in September 2018, after a fair few delays – but as yo know, you can’t rush quality.

Surrounded by 400 acres of the finest Hampshire countryside. It’s been described by CN Traveller as game-changing and we have to agree. Very few wedding venues in the South of England can match its luxuriousness, so it’s a place we’re terribly excited to photograph weddings at – it reminds us a little of Babington House, Brympton House and some of the Soho House venues – and that’s certainly not a bad thing! The more luxury wedding venues the UK has, the better!

This could be due to the influence of Ben Thompson, who designed the interiors of Heckfield Place – which will surely will make for incredible backdrops for your photos. We always love to capture details in our photography, and Heckfield does not look to disappoint;  from persian rugs to floral designs, original georgian fireplaces and stunning handcrafted furniture – the venue has clearly been curated by people with impeccable taste, for people with equally high standards & we imagine it will be hugely popular with our wedding clients.We’re particularly excited about the photo opportunities afforded by the grounds and gardens – from the river and lakes, to the Arboretum, orchard and Georgian pleasure gardens, it all sounds delightful. We can already visualize doing photographs on the terraces while guests sip champagne in the sun.

Luxury Weddings

We film and photograph weddings all across the UK, at some of the most prestigious and luxurious wedding venues including Heckfield Place. We’ve a wealth of experience at venues including the incredible Hampton Court Palace to wonderful manor houses like Goodwood House and Thornbridge Hall, to magnificent castles like Belvoir Castle and Highclere Castle.

We know the effort, consideration and attention to detail that goes into planning a luxury wedding, and we love to work with couples to capture that. Over the past 14 years we’ve developed a style that enables us to work in a relaxed way, capturing all the little moments, details and telling the story of your day, whilst we work in a relaxed way for the majority of the day, we’re also more than comfortable producing group photographs – even these we keep light and relaxed.
