Kate and Ralph’s Rhinefield House Wedding, a day full of laughter and joy at the beautiful Rhinefield House Hotel in the New Forest (Rhinefield Rd, Brockenhurst SO42 7QB).
They surrounded themselves with friends and family and put together a lovely, sophisticated day – the sun was shining, the trees and flowers were in bloom up the magnificent drive way and the house looked amazing – as always, but today it was accentuated beautifully by all the personal touches Kate had infused their day with. Kate and Ralph had wedding photography coverage from their getting ready – which also took place in Hampshire at the beautiful Rhinefield House, through to the start of their meal.

We’ve been shooting weddings at at Rhinefield for over a decade, so have a pretty good idea of how it all works, we’ve also lots of experience working at hotels and venues owned by the the same chain – Handpicked Hotels – all across the UK. Buxted Park Weddings make up a large portion of our enquiries – so we’re very familiar with how the brand operates all their venues.
Rhinefield House Hotel is very much a turn-key wedding venue, one that you book and let them do the rest. It’s what they do hundreds of times a year and it’s what people tend to love about these kind of venues. We often work in wedding barns – Bury Court for example – and more DIY venues, that afford their clients the opportunity to customize their day to the nth degree.
Rhinefield tends to offer a set of options to the couples to choose from – from wonderful food, to drinks menus, to gorgeous details, to various room layouts. It’s a great way to cut down on the stress of planning a big wedding – especially if you aren’t local to the New Forest and are planning your wedding remotely – as is often the case. Many of the couples we’ve worked with at Rhinefield planning their wedding from London or even further afield and turn-key venues work well for those kinds of couples.
Getting Ready
The big joy of an all-in-one location like Rhinefield, especially one that has hundreds of rooms is that both the Bride and Groom can get ready there – and still remain completely separate with no chances of seeing one and other on the morning of the wedding. It also means many of your guests can stay over either before or after the big day – hugely cutting down on the logistics and stresses associated with wedding days – and maximising the party time!!

Rhinefield House offers a wonderful balance of indoor and outdoor space – from the lawns out the back which are magnificent on summers days for your drinks reception, your couple photos and any group photos – to magnificent halls ideally suited to big reception meals (or your drinks when the weather is less than ideal!)
In the heart of the New Forest
Being right in the heart of Brockenhurst is a massive blessing – more adventurous couples can choose to go for a wander in the forest for their photos – or even jump in a car and head to one of the nearby beauty spots. a Sunset over the New Forest is one of life’s beautiful things.
But if you don’t fancy travelling away from the venue (after all, you picked the venue for a reason! – might as well stay there and enjoy it!) there are literally hundreds of options for photographs around the gardens. From around the pond, to the beautifull manicured gardens to the tree lined arch – we’ve certainly never run out of inspiration working there.
What we do
We’re relaxed, documentary wedding photographers – which basically means we capture the day and the events as they happen without too much interference or intrusion. It’s a great style for people who are a little more camera aware, or even camera shy – you just focus on having an amazing day and we’ll do the rest!
