Imagine our excitement when we heard that Artemis, the fabulous team behind some of our favourite weddings venues (Pelham House, for example) have turned their talented hands to another venue in our neck of the woods. We just have to be a part of a wedding there.

Syrencot is the most magnificent Georgian house, recently restored to exacting standards. Situated in Wiltshire just a stones throw from Salisbury, it’s going to prove popular with couples looking for a special backdrop to a truly special day.

We know weddings there will be special, from our existing relationship with the team at Artemis – who we work with regularly at Pelham House, a luxury wedding venue we are often recommended by.

Syrencot combines a gorgeous country house, with a contemporary barn and stunning gardens – all of which have been stylishly decorated and thoughtfully designed. Syrencot is definitely one of the finest wedding venues in Wiltshire and one we’re hugely excited to work at in 2023. From the gorgeous birds merrily tweeting away to the butterflies on the wildflowers lining the aisle, Syrencot immerses you in nature, but not at the expense of luxurious indoor space.

Getting ready at Syrencot

Before your wedding, you can get ready in the gorgeous light and airy Billiard Room , the vaulted ceilings are just the ticket for adding an elegance to your morning preparations. This part of the day is one of our favourites to photograph – the close moments between family adn friends really set the tone for the magic of the rest of the day.

Syrencot Glasshouse Wedding

With its floor to ceiling windows and gorgeous drapery, Ceremonies in the stunning Glasshouse are a firm favourite – for the perfect light all year round the Glasshouse promises a fabulous all weathers ceremony space that keeps you immersed in the nature surrounding Syrencot, all without letting that nature get to close. A must have options for the less-than-predicatble english weather.

Walled Garden Weddings

The real highlight on a summers day is the gorgeous walled garden. If the weather is right, Syrencot has the most stunning outdoor space for ever popular garden weddings. It’s walled garden surrounded by thoughtfully designed gardens, looks stunning throughout the year and offers an gorgeous backdrop for your eremony. You can also never go wrong having photos in the Walled Garden – from group photos of you and your wedding party, to couple photos of the pair of you alone – the textures and colours offered by the walls themselves, to the shelter and shade they offer on windy or brightly sunny days, will offer you so many great options for photos.

For a Fabulous dining experience and outrageous nights of dancing Syrencot has the Farmshed – The farmshed is a space where magic happens, you can relax and enjoy fine dining and after dark, let your hair down and throw some shapes on the dancefloor.
