Rebecca & Paul got married a couple of weeks ago at Brighton Unitarian Church – not a location I’d had the chance to photograph in before, but one I’ve always admired from outside (hint. there’s a good pub opposite.) It’s a beautiful, imposing, white building, which really stands out against the more modern architecture popping up in that part of Brighton.
Having met them, a few weeks before their wedding, for their pre wedding photography session, I had a fair idea of what to expect from their day & was really excited to be a part of it, but their day totally surpassed exceptions from beginning to end. They are both so very fun to be around & their guests sure knew how to have a good time!
Alex & Kelly got married a few weeks back at Brighton Registry Office – they are two of the most laid back, relaxed & friendly folks you could meet and their day was the most loving and intimate celebration at Brighton Town Hall.
Their love for each other shone through in every aspect of the day and the support and love from their families was evident, A wonderful, welcoming bunch who had traveled far and wide!
Also in attendance was Gary the Pug, who made a cheeky little appearance after the ceremony!
Lucie and Rob got married a few weeks ago at Brighton Town Hall, in the beautifully intimate Fitzherbert Room. It was just Lucie, Rob and their two friends who acted as witnesses – along with the registrars of course, which created the most wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. I love small weddings and elopements and this was a perfect example of how to do it the right way.
2017 – Wow. What an amazing and emotional year, full of beautiful Stories, Memories & Moments.
Getting to this point of the year, a traditionally quiet time for wedding photographers, provides a perfect opportunity for sitting back with a mug of coffee and taking a look through the previous 365 days, seeing the magic of a year unfolding across thousands of photos.
It’s easy to forget, but each photo represents a moment in time, a moment of incredible significance to the people involved. Moments I had the pleasure of witnessing and the honour of documenting.
It’s truly humbling.
Luki & Liam got engaged on Brighton beach , so when it came time to arrange their wedding – Brighton was the logical place to celebrate their big day! They got married at the beautiful Angel House, which is right on the seafront, a stones throw from where they got engaged & It was a perfect place for these two to tie the knot! A beautiful regency house, surrounded by their family, friends & lots of children including their daughter Luna – They made their day about fun, laughter & love.
I love this wedding so much, it had everything about weddings that I love – from the location (Lewes – my favourite town! I essentially grew up there, and go back as much as I can!) to the wonderful, friendly people, to tons of sumptuous details & heaps of rustic charm.
Wow, I don’t have the words for the second day of Claudia & Sarang’s wedding spectacular.
Part one was at the Pavilion, it was beautiful, intimate, fun & emotional.
Part two turned it right the way up to 11. Full of colour, music and dance.
2016, You’ve been amazing.
From the incredible people we’ve met, the beautiful weddings we’ve been a part of & the amazing moments we’ve witnessed. You’ve been amazing.
A few weeks ago, I photographed the wedding of the wonderful Carrie & Ben – an American & a Englishman, who met in Israel & got married in Brighton! One of the most globetrotting couples I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing.
Allison and Jack are a couple of total cuties (& instagram celebrities with 130k+ followers!) who met at Guildford School of Acting in Surrey.
Brighton has particular significance for them as it was where Jack proposed last year, so the couple picked the City as the venue for their big day. They were joined on the day by all their friends from the School of Acting and Allison’s relatives, who live in America and travelled over especially for the wedding.
