Sophie & Adam – two of the warmest and welcoming people you could meet, had a wonderful wedding at Grittenham Barn & invited us along to document it.
2017 – Wow. What an amazing and emotional year, full of beautiful Stories, Memories & Moments.
Getting to this point of the year, a traditionally quiet time for wedding photographers, provides a perfect opportunity for sitting back with a mug of coffee and taking a look through the previous 365 days, seeing the magic of a year unfolding across thousands of photos.
It’s easy to forget, but each photo represents a moment in time, a moment of incredible significance to the people involved. Moments I had the pleasure of witnessing and the honour of documenting.
It’s truly humbling.
Crawley is just a short drive away from where I live, so I’m often found in the area for weddings at popular venues such as Alexander House, Ashdown Park, Brookfield Barn, Crawley Registy Office, Nymans and Wakehurst Place (the last two are particular favorites of ours! – we do love a good National Trust place!)
Whether you’re aiming for an opulent affair in a hotel or country house, or something a little more rustic – like a teepee in a field, there’s a ton of options available & my 13 years experience of wedding photography tells me they can all look utterly stunning.
You’ve found an Eastbourne Wedding Photographer. I’m Simon Fazackarley and alongside my partner Heather, run Fazackarley Wedding Photography & Films. We provide wedding photography and videography to discerning couples through the UK. We’re also incredibly proud to have been name amongst the Top Wedding Photographers and Videographers in the UK by The Wedding Industry Awards.
I’ve been a wedding photographer for 13 years now and love to tell the story of weddings through the beautiful moments, tiny details and stunning portraits. Being based in Brighton puts me a stones throw from the beautiful seaside town of Eastbourne – and so perfectly situated to provide wedding photography at venues such as All Saints Chapel, Birling Manor, Gildredge Manor, The Grand Hotel and Folkington Manor, amongst other places.
Milly & Chris got married late last year in St Peters Church, Firle, a firm favourite of ours! Afterwards they headed along the road to the incredible Firle Place to have a wonderful, sophisticated garden party in a marquee in the grounds of the house.
Firle is such a wonderful little place, we often go there for lunch at the Ram & a little wander around the village, so being able to photograph a wedding there is always special for us! (As of 2019, We’ve also a recommended photographer of Firle Place!)
2016, You’ve been amazing.
From the incredible people we’ve met, the beautiful weddings we’ve been a part of & the amazing moments we’ve witnessed. You’ve been amazing.
Jess & Chris got married at the Rumbolds Barn, near Billinghurst in Sussex. It’s a Barn wedding venue with wonderful outside space and a lake. They had a fantastic outdoor ceremony surrounded by their family and friends. Drinks reception around the lake and on the lawns. The bride arrived in a Rolls Royce (Chris designed the interior!). Beautiful hand-made details in the barn. This wedding had it all.
We’ve covered lots of weddings at other barn wedding venues – Sussex Barn, Bury Court, Fitzleroi, Pangdean etc. and they always make for great days, so we were very excited to get to Rumbolds and it certainly did did not disappoint! It’s a really lovely space with beautiful gardens & a fantastic lake.
This year seems to have flown by! I’ve been lucky enough to have shot some truly beautiful weddings for some fantastic couples. I’ve also had the opportunity to work at some fab new locations like Worthing Dome and Birling Manor.
Heather and I are really looking forward to 2016, and we’ll hopefully have some really exciting news to share with you in February too!
We’d like to say a huge thank you to all the lovely couples that have booked Heather and myself this year. Here’s a little round up of some of our fav pictures from 2015.
