Wedding Photographer Wales

We’re Simon + Heather. We’re relaxed, Wales wedding photographers and videographers.

You can book us for wedding photography, videography or both.

We work with couples who want their wedding to be fun and relaxed. It’s not about standing inline for hours taking row after row of formal group photos, its about relaxed photos that capture you and your guests having a great time.

It’s about photos that capture you being you.

We have a relaxed approach to wedding photography and wedding videography. We document all the joy, laughter and fun, while you and your guests have a fantastic time. We’ll also make stunning, creative portraits – but even those are light, fun and relaxed.

We want to tell your story, by getting to know you & learning what inspires and excites you – we will capture all the feelings, emotions and laughter of your wedding day in a way that is unique and deeply personal.

We know what its like to be in front of the camera. It can be awkward, but we make that awkwardness fun and capture relaxed, genuine photos of you being you.

We’re not your parents wedding photographers, we’re your photographers.

“…We wanted a wedding photographer who would not only take photographs but capture the magic of our day…”

HOW IT WORKS

It’s not about standing in line for countless hours, while your wedding photographer takes lines of boring, formal photos.

It’s about enjoying your special day. It’s about having the greatest time.

It’s about marrying your best friend.

It’s about wedding photography that captures that in a fun and beautiful way.

Wedding Photography that gives you something to look back on time and time again to bring back every moment, every memory and every smile.

DOCUMENTARY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Our photography style is relaxed, unfussy and fun. We love to create beautiful, timeless, images filled with joy and laughter. We’ll capture the atmosphere and emotion of your Surrey wedding, building a story around all the little details – the smiles & laughter, family & friends, the dancing & speeches and everything in between.

ABOUT US

We’re a Wales wedding photographer and filmmaker duo based on the South Coast and we work all across the UK. Our style is unfussy and laid back, with a focus on capturing your wedding in a relaxed way, filled with joy and laughter. Telling the story of your wedding through all the little details; the emotions and the fun. It’s not about staging moments or standing in a line saying cheese. It’s about capturing the people, feelings, genuine moments and beautiful memories.

It’s about telling your story beautifully.

Wherever the venue and regardless of the weather, it’s all about capturing the magic as it happens, and documenting it in a truly beautiful, emotional and sympathetic way. Balancing that with incredible details and stunning, creative portraits.

SURREY WEDDING VIDEOS

In addition to wedding photography, we also offer wedding videography – meaning you can eliminate the stress of finding separate photo and video with our dual photo and film wedding coverage.

Our wedding photography and videography coverage complement each other seamlessly. With either one of us doing both filming and photos for a discreet approach, or separate wedding photographers and videographers to ensure everything is covered beautifully, we’ll set about producing a thoroughly beautiful and timeless story of your day.

WALES WEDDINGS

While you’re planning your wedding and looking for the best wedding photographer in Wales, perhaps consider bringing someone in from further afield. We’re relaxed wedding photographers, and we happily cover the entire UK. We include travel within the UK in every package, as we don’t feel geography should limit your choice of wedding photographer – pick someone whose work you love, not because they are nearby.

With 14 years experience of weddings across the UK and Internationally, we’ll capture your story beautifully.

Wales always has an exceptional place in our Hearts, a lot of Simon’s family are from the valleys (Pembrokeshire – around Milford Haven!) and a lot of family holidays were spent exploring Pembrokeshire and the Welsh countryside.

Welsh people are also some of the friendliest folks around, so we can’t get enough welsh weddings.

“…I can’t imagine anyone you’d rather have documenting one of the most important days of your life…”

OUR STYLE

Our style is casual and unfussy. We make pictures filled with love and laughter. Photos that catch not just the environment, but the feeling of your wedding, we create a story around all the little details– the grins and giggling, your family and friends, the details and dancing – and everything in the between.

How we work.

We document your wedding day as it happens by blending in with your family and friends – even during the more formal photos we keep things relaxed, light and fun.

We’re not here to make you stand in a line for hours upon end saying cheese until your face hurts. We want you to have a great time and we want to get you fantastic photographs of it.

Editing.

For the highest in consistency and quality all of our photo editing is done in-house. A great deal of professional wedding photographers outsource their editing – this often means that the person editing your memories wasn’t at your wedding – they didn’t get to experience the day, they didn’t feel what you did and they don’t always get what the vibe of the day was.

By editing our photos and videos ourselves, you can be sure your story will be told sympathetically, with the feelings and emotions affectionately and thoughtfully brought out of every last image.

Featured.

We’re regularly featured on the top wedding blogs including Rock My Wedding, Rock and Roll Bride, Love My Dress, Ruffled, Style Me Pretty, Whimsical Wonderland Weddings and One Fab Day.

We’ve also been featured in wedding magazines such as Your Sussex Wedding, Perfect Wedding, Wedding Ideas and Brides Magazine.

It’s your day.

Our approach is casual and relaxed; everything that we do revolves around our belief that It’s your day, not our photoshoot.

We often begin 2-3 hours before your ceremony with the wedding party, catching all of the tiny details and the little moments shared between your loved ones.

After this, we take the day as it comes, capturing your story and all the emotions through mostly unstaged moments. Leaving you to make the most of your big day – but we’re always on hand to recommend the right spots for quick portraits as well!

We’re more than happy to put together more formal family photographs – after all – rarely do you’ll have all your family and friends together, and looking so lovely – but even these we keep light and casual.

After any formal photographs, it’s generally a fantastic time for you to take a break from your wedding party – this is when we’ll make beautiful photos of the two of you alone. These couple photographs are fun to make and can be more creative – taking into account the environment or any details of the location you’re keen to explore.

It’s also a brilliant opportunity for you to enjoy some time to yourselves.

For the duration of the evening, we are pretty unobtrusive, catching the delightful in-between moments, the giggling from the speeches and everyone having a wonderful time. Once the sun sets, it can be an ideal time to get a few more couple photographs in the soft evening light before getting you back to your family and companions for some dancing.

A lot of wedding photographers will head off after the first dance, not us. We know your wedding isn’t just the bunch of hours between the ceremony and your first dance – after dark can be when the characters really show up, and this chapter of your story springs to life.
