Ham Polo Club Wedding – Natalie & Warren

One thing about English summer weddings is that you can’t guarantee sunshine, but the heavy rain clouds did nothing to dampen spirits at Natalie and Warren’s lovely wedding in Richmond upon Thames.

Heather and I spent a bit of time with Natalie and the girls for the bridal preparations, before heading over to meet Warren at the ultra plush Richmond Hill Hotel right next to Richmond Park in Surrey.

Warren is probably the most relaxed groom I’ve ever met, and happily chatted away to us while calmly going about his wedding preparations. Check out the shots of his wedding shoes in the post below: utterly amazing!

After the wedding ceremony at the majestic St Mary Magdalene church in central Richmond, we headed on to Ham Polo Club for the wedding reception. The wedding party was treated to plenty of fizz, a sumptuous wedding breakfast, much laughter and Natalie and Warren’s amazing first dance to Billy Ocean’s Caribbean Queen, complete with outfit change! Good times!

Brighton College Wedding – Charlotte & Robin

Charlotte and Robin got married at St. John the Baptist Church in Kemptown.

They used the ever popular Brighton wedding venue, Brighton College for their reception.

Brighton College’s Great Hall was decorated to perfection with shades of purple.

They did their photos on the lawns in the quad and around the chapel.

An Incredibly Luxurious day from beginning to end.

Charlotte & Robin are two of the loveliest people you can meet, Robin is a world reknown surgeon and Charlotte is an incredibly talented graphic designer who owns a design studio in Brighton – so going into their wedding it was clearly going to be beautiful, interesting, sophisticated and elegant.

It was such a pleasure to photograph their big day, Not least because their venues were steeped in my own personal history – but also because they are just thoroughly lovely people to spend time with.

West Wittering Wedding – Emily & Stuart

I first got to know Emily and Stuart when they were the Bridesmaid & Usher at a previous wedding I’d shot (the lovely Kate and David, who in a wonderful role reversal were Bridesmaid & Usher today!) so I knew their wedding would be a lot of fun – and I knew a lot of their friends too, so it was great to catch up with them again! Newick Rugby club sure know how to have a good time!

Emily and Stu took over a field in West Wittering (A cute seaside town, on the Hampshire side of Sussex) and had chosen a circus theme for their reception – they had a marquee set up to look like a big-top, hula hoops, plate-spinning and a circus tent cake. Emily even arrived at the church in the most amazing clown-themed car!

Everything a wedding should be – family, friends and a lot of fun!

I had the ultra talented Heather Wilkinson helping me out at this wedding!

Dodford Manor Wedding Photographer – Jen & Will

Jen & Will’s wedding took place at Dodford Manor. They surrounded themselves with the people they love (including Nic & Will, who’s wedding I shot a few years ago!) & had an amazing day filled with Asian & Iranian influences, a healthy splash of Anchorman & the wonderfully unpredictable British weather (amongst other things!)

I knew they were going to be good fun to work with, after their engagement session, and knowing some of their guests from previous weddings I knew it was going to be a relaxed, fun day. Admittedly, The weather tried to put a damper on plans, but no amount of cold & rain could contain J&Ws (& their guests) enthusiasm & happiness! Onto the story –

As I’d stayed in the same hotel as them the night before, I popped in to see the boys, who were busy writing their speeches!

Buxted Park Wedding Photographer – Danielle & Mark

Dani & Mark tied the knot at Buxted park – a lovely venue in sussex I’d been to a few times before, but never for a wedding! It’s a lovely hotel surrounded by gorgeous Sussex countryside, with a ton of great outdoor space,  & a fantastic orangery (think big conservatory!) – which is bright & a really great space for parties!

Having not met D&M before their big day I wasn’t really sure what to expect going into it & I was blown away! Two sweet, creative people (Mark made their rings!), a wonderfully emotional jewish wedding ceremony, a day filled with fun, loads of fabulous details & beautiful weather – which helped enormously during the outdoor ceremony!
