A few weeks ago, I photographed the wedding of the wonderful Carrie & Ben – an American & a Englishman, who met in Israel & got married in Brighton! One of the most globetrotting couples I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing.
They’ve had several weddings around the world, & had me along to photograph this one, which I believe was their third one!! It was a beautiful Jewish ceremony at one of my favourite local venues, Stanmer House.
Ben’s the barman at Stanmer House, so I guess it was only natural to want to celebrate there, and share the joy with their family, friends & colleagues – including a wonderfully heartfelt moment where they toasted & shared champagne with all Ben’s colleagues, who had been behind the scenes for the majority of the day.
The weather was interesting to say the least – it started with thunderstorms, torrential rain – and then suddenly beautiful sunshine – just in time for an afternoon in Stanmer House’s beautiful garden!
I love a Stanmer House Wedding, not least because its about 5 minutes from my house, but also because its just such a stunning venue surrounded by some of my favourite parkland & woodland, when I’m not there for weddings, I can usually be found wandering the woods with my dogs!
Congratulations Carrie & Ben!
