Rosie and James got married in January in Bexhill, celebrating their wedding at the De La Warr Pavilion. With it being a 4pm ceremony, in winter – they knew they wouldn’t really be outside for a lot of the day, but as they were really keen to have light, bright and airy portraits, they chose to have their couple photos later in the year – once the weather improved.
Having grown up in Bexhill, Rosie loves the area and it holds a lot of fond memories, so it was the logical place to do their photos. I’d spotted a gorgeous length of beach on my way to their wedding, so suggested that might be a great location to explore and funnily enough it was the exact spot Rosie had been to a lot when she was younger, so that is where we started.
On the wedding day we are often limited in the amount of time we spend doing photos with the couple, and for good reason – we’d rather you be enjoying yourself with your guests! But they’re such important photos, and often the ones that get printed – so having the opportunity to spend longer on them was a real treat!
Thank you Rosie and James – it was wonderful to see you both again!
