Megan & James’ wedding at Bath Abbey combined incredible locations with the most lovely, welcoming people who had travelled far and wide to celebrate – a truly special day!
Bath is a place I love to go, it’s a little outside of my usual haunts for wedding photography, but it’s such a unique place – everything looks different there, like stepping back in time.
The Abbey is an incredible place to have a wedding, it’s not something everyone has access too and I’m genuinely proud to have been a part of a day there. It could easily be an intimidating spot to work, but my informal approach works just as well at grand wedding venues like this, more so actually – as I can blend in and not take anything away from the ocerall vibe of it all.
After the ceremony at the Abbey Megan and James went for a little drive around Bath in the family car, as you do. Granted the family car was a 100+ year old Rolls Royce owned by James’ Great Grandfather. I’ll admit riding around in the back of that through the streets of Bath is something I won’t forget soon – not least beasuce of the sudden rain storm we found ourselves in.
