Working with video

I occasionally work with video alongside photography, when it genuinely suits the day. It’s approached in the same documentary way – calm, unobtrusive, and focused on people.

I’m based in Sussex and work across the UK.

Some moments carry something that still photographs can’t always hold – movement, sound, atmosphere. When video makes sense, I use it to preserve moments without changing how the day feels.

I work solo, with minimal equipment and there are no retakes or intrusion. You likely won’t know whether it’s photos or video I’m currently capturing.

The priority is always the experience of the day first – the documentation comes second.
