Bella and Tom’s Goodwood House wedding was a truly sophisticated and stylish day filled with emotion. Goodwood always lends a note of sophistication to weddings, but this was exceptional from beginning to end. Starting the day at Bella’s parents house, before a wonderful ceremony at St Stephens Church, North Mundham concluded with the most wonderful confetti – I’m told the church is known for this! They then headed onto Goodwood for an afternoon of food, drink and dancing – I’m immensely proud of these images and delighted to share them.

Goodwood House Wedding

Goodwood House is a such a special venue for a wedding. It’s been the backdrop to many of our portfolio weddings. The sweeping drive is just magnificent. The entire estate is steeped in history, having been home to the Dukes of Richmond for over 300 years. It was wonderful to witness Bella and Tom making their very own history in such an historic location.

Sussex Wedding

It’s stereotypically English to talk about the weather – but for March we were very fortunate, it was such a treat that the sun was shining on Sussex throughout the day and offered us the opportunity to go exploring the glorious grounds surrounding Goodwood House for some stylish couple photographs in some of the most stunning spring light we’ve ever seen. There’s nothing quite like Sussex weddings when the sun is shining! It’s one of the most gorgeous places in England, and the sun just makes it all the more magical.

We’re immensely grateful to Bella and Tom for including us in their Goodwood House Wedding and having us to photograph them and their friends!

Goodwood House Wedding Venue

Goodwood House is a historic estate located in West Sussex, England, that has been owned by the Dukes of Richmond for over 300 years. The house was originally built in the early 17th century and has been expanded and renovated over the years to its present state. The estate played an important role in both World War I and II, serving as a hospital and training center for soldiers. Today, Goodwood House is known for its stunning architecture and extensive art collection, including works by Van Dyck, Stubbs, and Reynolds. The estate is also home to the ever popular Goodwood Festival of Speed and the Goodwood Revival, two of the most prestigious events in the motorsports world. The history and beauty of Goodwood House make it a must-see destination for anyone interested in English history and culture. We love to get back to The Goodwood Estate as regularly as we can and love nothing move than a Goodwood House Wedding.

Getting Ready at Goodwood

They invited us along to capture the story of their whole day, from start to finish, so the coverage commences with Bella and her family getting ready at the nearby brides parents house .

It was the perfect setting for the morning of their special day. Being a documentary wedding photographer, it’s all about blending in with the story and discreetly documenting the moments as they happen. This was made all the more easy, because Bella surrounded herself with a lovely, welcoming group of her closest friends and family, and her adorable dog had a delightful time running around – distracting everyone from any nervousness!

We then moved onto St Stephens Church where we met the lovely Tom, who was ensuring everyone was greeted warmly and well taken care of, while he eagerly and nervously awaited the arrival of Bella.

Bella looked stunning, channelling vintage Hollywood and wearing the most spectacular dress, which paired beautifully with her bridesmaids dresses in a sky blue colour.
