Abby and Adam are a wonderfully welcoming couple and chose Southend Barns as the venue for their wedding day.
Southend Barns is a beautiful barn wedding venue set in the West Sussex countryside near Chichester. The venue has recently been restored so it has a wonderfully modern feel to it. It’s full of stylish touches and very much designed to offer everything you’d look for in a wedding venue such as indoor and outdoor ceremony locations, a wonderfully stylish paved courtyard space (perfect for summer drinks receptions), stunning countryside views, overnight accommodation options and a beautiful bridal suite.
Abby and Adam had opted for an outdoor ceremony and were luckily blessed with beautifully sunny weather so they could really make the most of the stunning venue and idyllic countryside setting.
Shared interests are very much part of the success of Abby and Adam’s relationship. They’re both very much into fitness and met while they were both studying to be personal trainers. They’re also passionate foodies and developed an entirely vegan menu to share with their guests on their wedding day. I was lucky enough to try some of the food and it really was exceptional.
In the evening the Barn was transformed into a cosy entertaining space, with festoon lights adorning the barn’s high beams – the perfect backdrop for Abby and Adam’s romantic first dance. And in keeping with Adam’s Jewish family traditions, the chair dance later in the evening got all the guests out of their seats and up on to the dancefloor to really get the party started! A wonderful atmosphere for a wonderful couple – thanks for having me along to your special day guys!
