I met a lady a few years back at Becca and Phil’s wedding, at the time I didn’t know her name.
I remembered her fondly because she was the most excited about sparklers and the subject of one of my favourite photos. It was contagious – potentially the happiest face I’ve seen in a photograph ever. She’d been a fun and lively guest all day – but when the sparklers came out, she turned it up to 11.
Alice and Greg got married just before Christmas at Cowdray House. A Cowdray House wedding is always a grand affair, and this was no exception! It was the most magical day!
Wow, where do I start with this one? Laura & Gavin are brilliant fun and were smiling from ear to ear from beginning to end of their wedding – as was I!
A few weeks back, on what must have been the hottest day of the year, Kathy and Greg celebrated their wedding at a brand new wedding venue near Windsor (Wraysbury – to be precise!) – The beautiful Amber Lakes. We were told they were only the second couple to have had their wedding at Amber Lakes (so far!), so we feel incredibly privileged to have been able to share their wedding day with them.
Sophie & Adam – two of the most warm and welcoming people you could meet, had a wonderful wedding at Grittenham Barn & invited us along to document it.
Grittenham barns weddings are special to us, we photographed our first wedding their over 6 years ago and have been delighted to return for other weddings over the years. We have a brilliant relationship with Katherine, their wedding coordinator and the entire team, and are delighted to have a copy of Sophie and Adam’s wedding album on display at the venue. Grittenham, along with Bury Court are by far and away two of the wedding venues we’ve shot at the most – always good times!
In Early June, on a wonderfully warm, yet overcast day Eunji and Joe celebrated their wedding, surrounded by Sheep, at Wadhurst Castle in East Sussex. They brought their nearest and dearest family and friends from all across the globe and celebrated in beautiful, intimate style with an outdoor ceremony in the walled garden, followed by a delightful meal in the garden room.
Rebecca & Paul got married a couple of weeks ago at Brighton Unitarian Church – not a location I’d had the chance to photograph in before, but one I’ve always admired from outside (hint. there’s a good pub opposite.) It’s a beautiful, imposing, white building, which really stands out against the more modern architecture popping up in that part of Brighton.
Having met them, a few weeks before their wedding, for their pre wedding photography session, I had a fair idea of what to expect from their day & was really excited to be a part of it, but their day totally surpassed exceptions from beginning to end. They are both so very fun to be around & their guests sure knew how to have a good time!
Alex & Kelly got married a few weeks back at Brighton Registry Office – they are two of the most laid back, relaxed & friendly folks you could meet and their day was the most loving and intimate celebration at Brighton Town Hall.
Their love for each other shone through in every aspect of the day and the support and love from their families was evident, A wonderful, welcoming bunch who had traveled far and wide!
Also in attendance was Gary the Pug, who made a cheeky little appearance after the ceremony!
Rosie and James got married in January in Bexhill, celebrating their wedding at the De La Warr Pavilion. With it being a 4pm ceremony, in winter – they knew they wouldn’t really be outside for a lot of the day, but as they were really keen to have light, bright and airy portraits, they chose to have their couple photos later in the year – once the weather improved.
