A few weeks back, on what must have been the hottest day of the year, Kathy and Greg celebrated their wedding at a brand new wedding venue near Windsor in Surrey – The beautiful Amber Lakes. We were told they were only the second couple to have had their wedding at Amber Lakes (so far!), so we feel incredibly privileged to have been able to share their wedding day with them.
Weddings
Grittenham Barn Wedding – Sophie & Adam
Sophie & Adam – two of the warmest and welcoming people you could meet, had a wonderful wedding at Grittenham Barn in Sussex & invited us along to document it.
Wadhurst Castle Wedding – Eunji & Joe
In Early June, on a wonderfully warm, yet overcast day Eunji and Joe celebrated their love with a Wadhurst Castle wedding, surrounded by Sheep in East Sussex. They brought their nearest and dearest family and friends from all across the globe and celebrated in beautiful, intimate style with an outdoor ceremony in the walled garden, followed by a delightful meal in the garden room.
Brighton Unitarian Church – Rebecca & Paul
Rebecca & Paul got married a couple of weeks ago at Brighton Unitarian Church – not a location I’d had the chance to photograph in before, but one I’ve always admired from outside (hint. there’s a good pub opposite.) It’s a beautiful, imposing, white building, which really stands out against the more modern architecture popping up in that part of Brighton.
Having met them, a few weeks before their wedding, for their pre wedding photography session, I had a fair idea of what to expect from their day & was really excited to be a part of it, but their day totally surpassed exceptions from beginning to end. They are both so very fun to be around & their guests sure knew how to have a good time!
Goodwood Weddings – Vicky & Ryan
Vicky and Ryan celebrated their wedding earlier this year at Goodwood Kennels, in West Sussex.
Goodwood Estate weddings are always elegant affairs and Vicky and Ryan’s was no exception.
Wedding Photographer Bexhill – Rosie & James
Rosie and James’ had a beautiful wedding a few weeks ago at the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill. A 4pm ceremony in mid-January is expected to be a little colder and darker than the rest of the year – but Rosie and James, along with their friends and family lit up the day, with love, warmth, happiness and laughter.
It was a pleasure to witness, photograph and be a part of.
Angel House Wedding – Luki & Liam
Luki & Liam got engaged on Brighton beach , so when it came time to arrange their wedding – Brighton was the logical place to celebrate their big day! They got married at the beautiful Angel House, which is right on the seafront, a stones throw from where they got engaged & It was a perfect place for these two to tie the knot! A beautiful regency house, surrounded by their family, friends & lots of children including their daughter Luna – They made their day about fun, laughter & love.
The Gardens Yalding Wedding – Becca & Phil
Their wedding was a heartwarming experience, that took place at the wonderful Gardens at Yalding, a new venue for us in Kent – combining the cracking outdoor spaces of somewhere like Nymans with the indoor space of venues like Farbridge, Grittenham or Bury Court.

They had a gorgeous teepee set up, which was filled to the absolute brim with beautiful details, personal touches and an incredibly welcoming bunch of friends, family & guests – I always have a great time at weddings and as part of my blending in, I pretty much end up becoming a ‘friend with a camera’, but their family and friends made it so easy – my face ached from all the laughter and smiling for sure! From hanging out with Becca’s dad while he put the finishing touches to the decor, organizing group shots with the assistance of the lovely Ludavine, to sharing a lovely meal with their friends the day was a beautiful one to be a part of.
This was my first The Gardens Yalding Wedding and I hope I get back there again really soon, it’s a pretty new venue – but its such a perfect spot for a wedding, and a fab spot for photographers with its beautiful gardens! Becca and her bridemaids got ready upstairs at the venue – as Becca is a professional makeup artist – I knew the morning would run like clockwork, and it did! Of course, Becca did her own makeup and looked amazing! Her friend James Blaquiere did everyone’s hair to absolute perfection. Truly a dream team!
Anyway, enough of my rambling – onto the story… (Stay right to the end for some epic sparkler action!)
Brookfield Barn Wedding Photographer – CJ & Luke
A few weeks ago, I traveled to Brookfield Barn, a brand new wedding venue, both in terms of it being the first wedding I’ve photographed there, but also in that it only opened a year or so ago! It’s very exciting to have such a great new venue right on my doorstep! It reminds me a little of another venue we frequent – Bury Court Barn, but is considerably closer!
I was there for the wedding of CJ and Luke, it was a date I felt I had highlighted on my calendar for a long time, as CJ first contacted me straight after I’d photographed Katie & Jason’s Barn wedding.
One of CJ’s 13 Bridesmaids, (yes you read that right! one-three. thirteen!) was Katie’s sister, so CJ had seen my work, loved my style and wanted me to be their photographer. When I get enquiries like that, they’re always super exciting – as I know some of the crowd already, and it becomes as if I’m just photographing a friends wedding, which is a pretty special thing to say.
Wedding Photographer Lewes – Lauren & Tom
I love this wedding so much, it had everything about weddings that I love – from the location to the wonderful, friendly people, to tons of sumptuous details & heaps of rustic charm. I adore Lewes – it’s by far my favourite town! I essentially grew up there, and go back as much as I can! These days I find myself there for quite a few Pelham House Weddings too!
