As Wedding Photographers covering the entire UK, we’ve seen some amazing venues – here are 9 of our favourite wedding venues in Surrey.
1. Hampton Court House
If you are planning a lavish Surrey wedding then Hampton Court House might just be what you’re looking for. Located in West London the House is close to the Royal Parks and boasts the magnificent Hampton Court Palace as it’s next door neighbour.
The Grand Hall overlooks Bushy Park and features all the touches of splendor you’d expect from a lavish venue including marble fireplaces and chandeliers to provide a stylish backdrop to your wedding ceremony.
Hampton Court House features impressive landscaped gardens, palm trees a plenty, a lake and its infamous shell lined grotto (shell collecting was a popular hobby amongst the upper classes at the time the house was built).
There’s plenty of parking for your guests close by and the venue is also within easy reach of Hampton Court train station.
Our top tips
We’ve photographed loads of Hampton Court House Weddings over the years and we can vouch for it’s credentials as a wedding venue guaranteed to impress!

2. Hampton Court Palace
Whether you visited the Palace as a child like we have and have fond memories of exploring the grounds and getting lost in the maze or perhaps have just admired it from afar, if you’re looking for the ultimate grand wedding venue then Hampton Court Palace has to be it. We can’t imagine hosting your wedding breakfast in a more impressive setting than the Great Hall (up to 220 guests), England’s last and greatest medieval hall, complete with magnificent wood panelled walls, grand tapestries, and a high wood beamed ceiling. We were very fortunate to get a personal tour of the Palace from their Brand Manager Katie, in the build up to her Hampton Court Palace Wedding
Depending on the size of your wedding the Palace offers a variety of locations to choose from, from the Little Banqueting House (up to 50 guests), The Garden Room (up to 180 guests), The Orangery & Privy Garden (up to 250 guests).
Top tips
The Palace really is a grand, impressive venue and offers so many opportunities for really impressive wedding photography. We love the little Banqueting house as it has the most wonderful views across the palace and the gardens. Weddings in the chapel are possible, however they have a strict no photography policy, so certainly something to consider.

3. Nonsuch Manor
Nonsuch is a Georgian Manor House set in the beautiful Nonsuch Park in Surrey. Henry 8th built Nonsuch Palace on a site near here and although the Palace is no longer in existence one look at Nonsuch Park is a good indication as to why he chose this stunning area.
There’s a beautiful ceremony room, with huge windows looking out onto the lawns and separate room for drinks, evening dancing in the evening. The Mansion’s grounds offer plenty of parking for guests, as well as fantastic opportunities for your photography. In finer weather you can choose to have your drinks reception on the lawns outside the Mansion just as Hannah and Thomas did, when they celebrated their Wedding at Nonsuch
Our top tips
Every time we’ve worked at this venue the staff have been nothing but charming to us, and that tends to speak volumes about the attention to detail they provide for their wedding clients, so we can personally recommend Nonsuch as a great wedding venue.

There’s plenty of parking for wedding guests and the Polo Club is located very close to Richmond town centre if you are planning to marry in a local church or registry office.
Top Tips
Ham Polo Club is an open plan venue and it’s possible to provide your own decorations to make it feel truly yours for the day.

5. Bury Court Barn
Bury Court offers the idyllic countryside views and the cosy barn decor while also being polished and slick and is licenced to cater for up to 150 guests for the wedding ceremony. The huge benefit to this venue is that you have options for both an indoor or an outdoor ceremony so the weather won’t spoil your plans if it does decide to chuck it down on your wedding day. The barn setting lends itself so well to beautiful floral arrangements and the festoon lighting provides magic and sparkle to evening receptions. There’s plenty of parking, a suite for overnight stays and bridal preparations and plenty of outdoor space for garden games and drinks receptions. We’ve covered 30 plus weddings at Bury Court over the years & it never disappoints.
Our Top Tips
Bury Court is a perfect venue if you just want a simple, classic wedding without having to do too much decorating yourself. The venue lends itself well to striking floral displays so once you’ve settled on a florist you can just let them present you with ideas that will complement your theme.

6. Pembroke Lodge
If you are looking for a Richmond Park wedding venue then look no further than Pembroke Lodge, set right inside Richmond Park with deer roaming free on the grass outside. The entrance to Pembroke lodge makes a great first impression draped with the sweetest smelling wisteria. The lodge is set on the highest point in Richmond Park, with views across the Thames Valley. Depending on the size of your wedding there are two suites to choose from, both are light and airy and allow you to add your own special touches. If the weather allows you can host your drinks reception on the Lodge’s patio area, which boasts stunning views of the Park and the valley.
Our Top Tips
Being a Royal Park Richmond is every bit as impressive as you might imagine and the deer roaming free are just magical. There are great road links to London and Surrey, as well as being near to Richmond and Kingston if you are planning a church ceremony and then moving on the Pembroke for your reception.
