Hello! We’re London Wedding Photographers.

We’re Simon and Heather, and we’ve been photographing weddings in London and across the UK for over 14 years. We love what we do, and are proud to say other people do to – as we’ve been named as one of the best wedding photographers in England by The Wedding Industry Awards.

We’re relaxed, documentary wedding photographers, working in a relaxed way to capture the atmosphere of your wedding, telling the story of your wedding day through little details; beautiful moments, smiles & laughter.

We don’t stage moments or boss people around, we’re laid back and want to focus on capturing the fun you’ll actually have – not mocking up some fake fun because it looks good in the photos.

In our 14 years, we’ve photographed over 400 weddings and have worked at many of the best wedding venues in London and throughout SurreyWe’re also really happy to travel, so if you’re getting married anywhere in the UK, or abroad – don’t be put off!

We feel very lucky to be able to capture weddings in London, it’s such an incredible city – filled with so much history & some of the finest architecture in the world, everywhere you look you’ll find something beautiful & it’s always such an inspiration for our wedding photography.

We grew up in Brighton (Simon) & Surrey (Heather), and as London is just an hour away on the train, we both know London very well, Weddings & events have also helped to show us undiscovered sides of the Capital – from the ultra cool Asylum, The House of Lords & The Houses of Parliament, The Crypt on The Green beneath the beautiful St James Church, the Ecology Pavilion in Mile End, Stoke Newington Town Hall, Hampton Court Palace, Hampton Court House & the gorgeous Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park.

We’ve also had the opportunity to do lots of engagement sessions around Belgravia, Battersea, Brixton, Greenwich, Shoreditch & South Bank – always interesting places to wander around!

We’re relaxed wedding photographers. We photograph the whole day from before the ceremony until late into the night – capturing all the laughter, smiles and fun – but also the emotional, nervous moments… and the tears shed by Aunty Barbara (either when she sees you arrive, or when she realises its a cash bar… which depends on your family!)

We’re wedding photographers and we’ll travel anywhere for a good story. Being based in the South of England, we’ve got amazing road and rail links, and are very close to Gatwick and Heathrow airports, so we can get anywhere in the country, or indeed the world relatively easily. As we’re based in Brighton, a lot of our weddings are in Sussex, Surrey and London, but recent weddings have taken us to Somerset, Cornwall, Yorkshire, Wales and Scotland – Nowhere is too far away, We’d love for your wedding to take us somewhere new.

Our passports are always up to date and we love to travel. So, if you’re planning on tying the knot overseas and like the sound of what we do we’d love to hear about your plans and how we could be a part of them.

An emerging trend in weddings, which is becoming increasingly popular – is for couples to have two weddings, one in the UK and a destination wedding overseas – If thats your plan, we’d love to be a part of both days, and by having us cover both you get an incredible consistency to your story, and can feel confident that both celebrations will be covered in our beautiful, relaxed style.

Wherever your wedding is taking place in London, we’ll document it in our unique, relaxed way – working with you to plan out the logistics and understand exactly how your day will work, so we can document it in the best way. No detail is overlooked, from travel arrangements across London, to the best opportunities for photographs – be it by the banks of the Thames, near Tower Bridge or in the incredible lights and bustle of Piccadilly Circus – you can be sure we’ll give your entire day thought and consideration. You’ve spent years agonising over the details – we want to do it justice and capture it in a way to make you proud, providing you with a set of photographs for you to treasur.

We often find ourselves heading to London for Indian Weddings and Asian Weddings – a wonderful adventure of colour, music and dance – not to mention some of the most welcoming communities we’ve had the pleasure of working with, and dont get us started on the incredible food!

With such a vast range of Indian wedding venues in London – many of which are set up for with the variety of ceremonies and customs, we’re never running short on inspiration or exciting things to photograph.

We are often in London for weddings at Hampton Court Palace – a truly exquisite venue – we’ve had the privilege of photographing weddings at some of the most prestigious castles and palaces across the country, from the gorgeous Highclere castle, to the fiercely imposing Belvoir Castle – but none are as grand as Hampton Court Palace, we were fortunate enough that our first wedding their was for an employee of the palace – who gave us the most wonderful tour around the palace and its magnificent gardens, telling us the history of the place, and showing us some of the secret places tourists don’t get to see and giving us incredible inspiration for future weddings at the palace.

Although there is such a vast range of luxury wedding venues in London – royal palace weddings are hard to beat!

Sussex is where we are based and its a fantastic place to be a photographer, so we’re always excited to photograph weddings in our home county. With such a vast range of locations to visit and use for backdrops of photographs – from the South Downs and its wondeful rolling hills, to the beautiful beaches – it’s got something for every taste.

Weddings have taken us all over Sussex – from the wonderfully unique vibrancy of Brighton, the dramatic cliffs of Seven Sisters and Cuckmere Haven, the Seaside charm of Worthing beach to the rustic charm of villages and towns such as Lewes and Alfriston. Sussex has so many fantastic wedding venues, and we’ve had the pleasure of photographing at many of them – from the stunning Goodwood House to the gorgeous Nymans Gardens, to the impeccably grand Royal Pavilion, to the sophistication of hotels such as Ashdown Park or Buxted Park.

We’re also regulars at Sussex’s beautiful array of wedding barns such as Pangdean Barns, Rumbolds Barn and Grittenham Barn.
