Wow, I don’t have the words for the second day of Claudia & Sarang’s wedding spectacular.
Part one was at the Pavilion, it was beautiful, intimate, fun & emotional.
Part two turned it right the way up to 11. Full of colour, music and dance.

Late last year I photographed Oran & Sofiane’s beautiful wedding at Ashdown Park Hotel – a stunning hotel near the Ashdown Forest, a favourite spot of mine! With so many wedding venues across East Grinstead – these guys certainly picked an amazing one!
Jess & Chris got married at the Rumbolds Barn, near Billinghurst in Sussex. It’s a Barn wedding venue with wonderful outside space and a lake. They had a fantastic outdoor ceremony surrounded by their family and friends. Drinks reception around the lake and on the lawns. The bride arrived in a Rolls Royce (Chris designed the interior!). Beautiful hand-made details in the barn. This wedding had it all.
We’ve covered lots of weddings at other barn wedding venues – Sussex Barn, Bury Court, Fitzleroi, Pangdean etc. and they always make for great days, so we were very excited to get to Rumbolds and it certainly did did not disappoint! It’s a really lovely space with beautiful gardens & a fantastic lake.
Sally & Bill are amongst some of the most vibrant & expressive people I’ve had the pleasure of photographing! They had a beautiful wedding in West Sussex – at Arundel Town Hall (We love town hall weddings!) & then onto Burpham Country House for an evening of celebrations.
We’re incredibly lucky that Britain has some of the most illustrious and breathtaking wedding venues in the world – Hampton Court Palace Weddings are right at the top of that list. If you like your weddings grand – you’re in the right place.
I met Kate & Chris for the first time a few weeks before their wedding, at their venue – the majestic Hampton Court Palace.
Kate works at Hampton Court and treated me to a wonderful tour around the palace & its stunning grounds, which allowed me to see all the parts she loved & to learn a little of the history behind the place.
To say her passion for the palace shone through was a complete understatement – Kate described to me, the feelings she had when she saw the palace as a little girl, how she knew it was the place would be a huge part of her life, and that she would eventually be married there.
Jessica and Hugh’s Sussex wedding is another autumn corker! Jessica and Hugh wanted both the groom and bride’s morning prep covered so they booked both Heather and I to photograph their special day – It was also lovely to have Heather back in wedding photographer mode – as she spends a lot of her time creating beautiful wedding videos, it doesn’t often leave time for second shooting!
Regular followers of the blog might remember Jessica and Hugh from their engagement session in Brighton in the summer, where they brought their energetic boxer dog Squid along to join in the fun. And Squid was also a special guest at the wedding – complete with a bow tie collar.
Here’s a bit of midsummer gorgeousness for you in the form of Leah & Adam’s relaxed Nymans wedding.
Leah and Adam are one cool couple, so it goes without saying that they had a wedding to match, full to bursting with totally awesome details!
The wedding ceremony took place at Nyman’s Gardens and Leah and her family were staying at a cottage nearby the night before, so I met up with them there for the bridal preparations. It was also great to see Jeni Dodson, whose wedding I shot last year, doing Leah’s hair and makeup.
I spent a bit of time with Leah before heading over to Nyman’s to meet up with Adam and the rest of the wedding guests. And I was just in time to catch Adam having a final bit of guitar practice ready to play as Leah walked up the aisle to the Loggia. You don’t get more romantic than that!
After the ceremony guests were treated to a picnic lunch on the lawns of Nymans so I took the chance to steal Leah and Adam away for a few portraits in Nyman’s grounds.
Later on in the day we all headed off to nearby Copsale Hall for an outdoor wedding reception, catered by Brighton supper club hostess Cantina. The food was INCREDIBLE! As for details, woah, there were homemade cakes, outdoor games, (including pig throwing!) meadow flowers in jam jars, and all the menus and labels were designed by groom Adam, who is a designer by day.
This was such a great wedding to shoot, fantastic people, a mega creative couple, glorious weather and details a plenty!
Leah and Adam, I hope you had a fantastic time on your camper van honeymoon travels! x
